At Aidan???s we understand that coming to university can seem like a daunting experience, but we also recognise that a little extra effort on our part can make the transition a lot easier. Irrespective of your background you will always find St Aidan???s College to be a welcoming place. We have students from almost every continent and our College staff and Executive work tirelessly to help you to settle in. We believe that it is the diversity of our student body that makes Aidan???s the vibrant and exciting community it is.
International students who accept an offer from St Aidan???s generally arrive before the other first-year students (commonly called ???Freshers???). At Aidan???s we have a whole team of reps (many whom will have been in similar shoes to you the preceding year) devoted to helping you settle in. They will show you around, help you enrol, help you to sort out any issues with bank accounts and mobile phone contracts so that come Freshers??? Week you can just sit back and socialise without having to worry about any of those administrative jobs.??
Aidan???s also offers a range of room let options, so if you would like to stay in college for the full duration of the holidays, or even for just a small part of that time, this can be easily arranged. Outside of term-time, many of our facilities continue to run as they do during term, so you can be confident of having a home here all year round should that be necessary.
If you have any specific questions we would be more than happy to answer them, as well as explain a little more about what Aidan???s in particular has to offer you. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with either our President ([email protected]) or our Senior Tutor ([email protected]).
